Always wanted to try this place every time we walked past it in Grand Central.

Was looking forward to our meal, everything was overpriced so we decided to go for the set menu as it was our first time eating at Comptoir Libinais. The set menu came with any starter and a main of your choice. The waitress asked us if we would like any drinks with our meal or a jug of water, we went with the water.

Food came was presented beautifully but felt slightly underwhelmed with the portion size of it. Nevertheless we did enjoy our meal as it tasted just as good as it looked.

When it came to paying our bill we realised there was a service charge of 10%, the food in the set menu was charged individually for each item and the water was not FREE! This obviously left us feeling very frustrated and disappointed. My husband asked the waiter who served us about the bill who then went and spoke to her manager to resolve the issue.

We were given a revised bill for the correct amount but needless to say we wont be coming back here again.

Shawarma city, very nice shawarma in this restaurant. There is many choices like shawarma wraps, shawarma plates with rice and Flafel wraps. I like the location and atmosphere

Great food, great value & nice staff. Not to mention a banging Shawarma, that really do taste just like a one bought in Çalış Beach.

Beautiful interior. We had a selection of vegetarian small plates including a cold mezze sharing platter. The food was really tasty and made for a great lunch. Staff were attentive. A very pleasurable experience in between trains.

Our first visit to a Lebanon restaurant. We couldn't choose but Dhaur the waiter helped us choose and was very nice and helpful. The portion of food was big for us and we had one starter and two main courses. We finished it off with dessert which was amazing! A very good experience for us and definitely not our last visit to Lebanon cuisine :)

We were going to see Editors at the 02 Academy, were booked into Holiday Inn at Snowhill / Constitution Hill & needed to grab some food. My husband had found Syriana in an online search of nearby places. Possibly some of the best service we’ve had in a while (our server was lovely & knowledgable) and wonderful food. Little extras like complimentary flatbread, hummus & pickles, then mint tea at the end. The vermicelli rice was a revelation. Visually beautiful food and totally delicious.

Wow. Really good food,Shwarma was perfect,salad fresh,rice fluffy,chips hot. Banging food and pretty cheap really for the large portions

Had a really good time trying out some new food recently! Everything tasted amazing, and it was nice to switch things up a bit. Emmanuela was super helpful and recommended some great dishes. Glad I went for it – made the whole experience even better.

Authentic Arabic food with excellent service and exceptional food. One of the best in the country. Tasty , generous portions , great flavour and very cheap. Can't go wrong with this place. Thank you to the owner for his courtesy and wonderful food.

I recently tried the mixed shawarma and fries from Shawarma City, and I must say, the flavours were delightful. The combination of the various meats was tasty, complemented perfectly by their array of sauces, particularly their garlic sauce, which was a standout.

However, I noticed that the shawarma was a bit fatty compared to others I've had in the past. It was enjoyable nonetheless, but just mentioning it so you're aware. It's not so much that it ruins the meal, but for an occasional treat, it's worth trying as the flavours are great!

Overall, Shawarma City offers flavoursome food with a varied sauce selection. Even those of you you who watch ketchup with shawarma 😒😅😂
