We just dropped our car off this morning after renting from Oaxaca and dropping back in Mexico City. Very straightforward, easy process, our car was spotless and the process of renting and returning took about 10-15 minutes either side. Our full deposit was returned. We bought the mid level insurance and had no problems, I think that's where most people get frustrated with car rental in Mexico, with the added insurance costs - I think you just need to accept that you have to buy the insurance and that's part of the cost of the car.

They cancelled our prebooked rental car but only notified us after we arrived to pick up the car because 'the last customer didn't return it'. We had to rush to another rental place with all of our luggage. Would not recommend this service at all. Go across the road for other better options.

Don’t book with fox. Book with europcar. Even if the price seems better with fox, it’ll increase by a lot when paying.

A/C didn't work on the first car, the second one broke 2 days later. Guy didn't want to exchange it. Returned it and went some place else. Will never rent there again. Stay away.

They advertise low rates but will never have the car you reserve through a travel site like Expedia, etc. The price you will actually pay will be considerably more. Other than that, no problems
