Very conveniently located at the bus terminal! People waiting for the bus simply don't have time to get refreshments from the nearby Stadshart. This little shop provides the essential drinks and snacks and other refreshments. The lady working at the store is very kind and helpful

It's not very often that shopping centres improve with time but Stadshart Amstelveen is not only immaculately maintained but is kept up-to-date and modern with the addition of new shops, cafés and restaurants. In fact it's a favourite of Amsterdammers! There is a huge library and a theatre, as well as the Museum of Modern Art (reviewed separately)

What a gem of an Asian restaurant right in the middle of a very busy street.... Definitely 5+ star!! The restaurant may be small but what an ambience. The décor is wonderful and both sides of the walls are decorated with Polaroids from satisfied clients. The food is authentic, the service is fast and the owner/staff is absolutely charming and very attentive. Highly recommended!

It's not often that we can find Syrian restaurants in the Netherlands, and certainly not with this calibre! The grilled lamb was fresh, juicy, aromatic and absolutely delicious. The tabbouleh was certainly the best I've ever eaten. It was fresh, fragrant, crunchy from the pine nuts and with sourness that was just perfect. Service was fast in spite of the crowd, and very friendly. Highly recommended!!
