Interesting place to travel back to civil war times. The main guns make impressive viewing as you look out over the sea and imagine in bygone days the ships you see would fall under their gaze. Some good information posters and photos to show and explain how they worked and came to be built into the hill side. Worth the effort. Safer but much harder to walk up from the lighthouse side where you can leave your car in safety.

Excellent fresh food that varies daily - rough and ready street cafe so table position can be drafty or cold out of season but food worth it for a real Spanish meal.
