A natural stream of water was flowing through Nandhi Bagawan Mouth and the Water is directly do Jala Abishekam to Shivaling all day of the year The water again filled in the pond before the Shivling. Tortoise colour fishes gracefully swim in the pond and feast to Devotees

Kadu Mallikarjuna Swami Temple is nicely built on the very small hill. Well built steps leads to the temple. On the way a Nagaraj Temple. This temple is very old and protected monument. On the other side two more temples of Lord Subrahmanya and Kadu Malleswara are there. Many trees are around the place and good views.

Sivagiri Mutt near Varkala was established by Shri Narayana Guru a Philosopher, Spiritual Leader and Social Reformer. Guru faught against the cast system prevailing. Guru opened school and gave education to all. Mutt is on a small sand rock hill. Many small temples around the area. Guru's kudil with things he used are preserved. Guru's Samadhi is vibrant calm place

Small falls & some poll of clear water near Chennai. Difficult to trek during summer days will be very hot. Have to go by own vehicle to the nearest spot & go trekking for about 3 to 4 km to reach. Nice place to enjoy with group. No food available and have to carry all requirements.
