This is the clock tower that hosts an old clock, the antiquity of which dates back to about 1763. The clock works perfectly even today. It chimes regularly on the hour, and it's USP is: when it chimes, it forces open the mouth of a bearded man just above the clock and then closes it when two rams on either side hit his cheeks.
The clock is located atop the old Fort Palace

Shivanagara Bus station and Hotel Vinitha in its precincts, were two of the places I most frequented during my study in Christ College Bangalore.
This is an interchange bus station, and one could get buses from here to most parts of the city back in the 1980s. It is still one of the busiest commercial areas in Bangalore.
For some reason the Namma Metro did not consider this location important enough in the first phase. That is now being corrected with a Metro station being constructed there.

There may have been a handful of people when I visited this place some time ago, mostly young couples.
The construction of this fort is attributed to the founder of the Tughlaq dynasty Ghiyasuddin Tughlaq more than 900 years ago. He also got constructed the road to link this fort to the Grand Trunk Road. This road remains to this day as the Mehrauli Badarpur Road.
The fort is in a good state of repair and is being maintained well by the Delhi administration.

Located in the midst of one of Agra's biggest business hubs Sanjay Place is a memorial for martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country.
It is free to visit.
It is mostly peopled by local office-goers who gave their lunch and siesta there and basically cause commotion and disturbance to genuine visitors. They lie down on the benches and conduct loud discussions.
The memorial is otherwise well constructed and laid out with a lot of greenery and flowerbeds in bloom when I visited in December '23.
The washrooms are in an awful state of maintenance and the memorial is littered with a lot of plastic and waste from the office-goers who lunch and rest there in the afternoons.

The go-to Metro station on the Yellow Line of the Delhi Metro to see the Delhi Legislative House &the Dr Ambedkar National Memorial, located close by.
The station is now about 22 years old, but is still spic and span, well-maintained and retains the aura, that it had in 2002.
The surroundings are also clean and well-maintained.
