Setareh Gharaei

One of the best playgrounds in North York. It is big, new and very well designed. Good for 18month to 12 year-old kids. The toddler’s part is not as big as other side.
Different kind and slid sizes.
Different kinds of swings.
There is splash pad area, but not a big one.
Washrooms in community centre.
Soft floor playground.
Huge free parking lot.
The park has many different trails for short hiking and biking, also there are many asphalt paths for walking with strollers. There is a beautiful pound in the middle. Many different parking lots.
BBQ is allowed.

The museum has lots of activities for family with kids, even adults can be engaged. We really enjoyed new experiences which took us 3 hours. It’s an old building but they kept it clean. Clean washrooms. Small nursery nook. Inside elevator and stairs. So friendly staff.
We loved EYEPOOL. Highly recommended.

Such a great area with fabulous view. Perfect for canoeing and hiking.
I saw snake there so be aware of that. The trail is moderate and marked by orange sign, when you can’t find the signs on the trees look at the rocks, most signs are painted on the rocks.
Bring your own water and snack to have it in the wonderful view of Georgian Bay.
Don’t forget to buy your ticket from Killarney park centre.( the admission fee is 15.50$ per vehicle for whole day.)
It’s not a easy trail for kids and seniors but it’s manageable.

It’s a good park for having picnic, there are picnic benches and some shaded seating areas. Bbq is allowed but You should bring your own.
It’s a great trail for along walking or biking. All the way is well maintained and it’s good for toddlers or parents with stroller.

The best place for watching sunset. The hill is great to having view to open field for watching soccer players in summer and play toboggan in winter. There are two playgrounds one for 5to12 another for 2to5 kids in the other side.
