Congress Central here with all the government administration buildings around the park square in this area of town.

The national congress building is fascinating to see. The design is beautiful and amazing certain covering the whole outside of the building.

Unfortunately, everything was closed when I visited this area. But it seems that they offer tours inside the building with advance planning and notice.

Hoped to be able to tour the inside, but they had pretty tight security around the building and not allowing tourists to even go inside of the perimeter fence that was set up.

Took a few pictures from the memorial plaza/park area adjacent to the palace. This building functions as a government/state building and houses many offices and meeting rooms for high ranking government officials in the Chilean government.

A nice display and many flags and memorials to past leadership are also found on the ground and around the area. This is one of the key buildings you'll find on many of the Chilean souvenirs. It's a significant historical landmark.

This is the central plaza location for the Argentine government and many agencies. At the Northwest corner is the Metro cathedral which is a beautiful structure and free to visit.

The plaza square is surrounded by government administration buildings. With the National History Museum to the west, and the blue A Metro line endpoint farthest east.

I would suggest Plaza de Mayo is a "must see" during your visit to Buenos Aires, Argentina. 😎 But keep in mind that the national history museum is closed on Monday and Tuesday. ☝🏻
