This museum is well worth a visit, it takes you back in time. Lots to do and see. Exhibition of the cheddar man that was found in the cave. Great display of weapons used for killing animals for food.

Cheddar Gorge is the biggest in England, drive up the twisty roads to see the high cliffs. Stopping on route to explore some small caves on the way. Do the clifftop walk to see the great view's from above.

Absolutely stunning drive down through the gorge, places to pull in to take in the vast gorge. Parking closer to the town are okay and display. This gorge is the largest in England. Great place to walk and explore.

Stayed here as it is close to Alton Towers.
Friendly guy, toilets and site very well looked after. Toilets, showers, family shower rooms, play park for children, dog walking field, tent, caravan and motorhome pitches. Some with great views of the countryside.
A lovely quiet stay.

Lovely woodland walks around the Antony Estate. Looking out for the green man, Jupiter point, the bath house etc. Acres of beautiful flowers, shrubs & trees makes the scenery breathtaking. Along the river estuary, the views are spectacular. Then walking up through the avenue of tress to the house is amazing. Highly recommended.
