While at Bastible my partner said: “You can always tell the difference between a good restaurant and a great restaurant. The flavours and quality is unbelievable”.

We have been waiting for months for this reservation. Every review or post I saw about it was praising the the whole experience and they absolutely did not disappoint.

Every meal was gorgeous, my favourite being the scallops. But every dish had amazingly put together ingredients and had incredible flavours.

The staff also were very friendly and knew the dishes well while being super helpful. The restaurant itself has a Scandinavian interior with not too many tables so even though it’s not big it feels very specious.

I would definitely come back for this more relaxed way of fine dining.

Great meal and good service. The restaurant is huge but you don’t realise it because they made every room cozy. The scallops were excellent and my company had the salmon who wanted to wager me it was even better. For a main I had the lamb, it was the best lamb I’ve had in years. Perfectly cooked and melted on the tongue. The roast was good, but a bit on the small side (Only 3 pieces). Pleasant staff, very quick and a good laugh. Would highly recommend, was a pleasure being there.

Amazing food, great quality, nice staff and a nice interior which is busy but not too busy. The reason I gave four stars is because I found it rather expensive for a three course meal, in comparison to other restaurants with more courses and the same or even better quality.

Though we had the christmas set menu, I would like to go back and see what it is like when it doesn’t have a set christmas menu.
