Beautiful little park for a wander. Runs alongside the river and has a large pond/mini lake with well trodden paths meandering around the largely wooded park. Lots of points worth stopping to take in the views. Den building area. Several picnic tables spread out and dotted around a very pretty area close to the free parking. The grass in this area is also cut if preferred. Tiny cafe nestled by a pond in the trees is another nice spot to take refreshment. As is the Nethergate brewery just around the corner.

Lovely wood fired pizza. Plenty of great topping options to include the usual favourites plus many a little more left field which is great to see. You can customise with other toppings and a few different 'crust dippers' which are a must, although the pizzas don't actually have much crust. Collection or delivery with order online (easy) or phone. I collect- with suggested time slots to select. Allow 10mins around it on typical busy evenings. Friendly people. Based in a small industrial unit a min inside the Louth bypass - purely functional no 'shop frontage' ŵhich I kind-a-liked. Makes it feel like a hidden secret or a bit underground somehow. Try it and also support your local business.

18 holes so plenty to keep you amused. Some pretty tricky, more due to slopes than 'obstacles'. We found the ball often rolled to the edges so you couldn't hit it properly and had to move it which was a bit annoying and parking is very expensive, but combined with the rest of the other play areas and walks you can make a good day of it. Would go back to High Lodge but not repeat the golf.
