Combination of a museum - dedicated to the history of Flevoland in general and Lelystad in particular and a wharf - dedicated to the art and craft of wooden ship building.
A visit inside the life-size replica of the famed Batavia ship is the highlight. Museum cards are accepted, or else ticketed entry is possible.

Ruins of an old Kasteel which now has only foundations visible.

Beautiful castle and grounds-cannot go inside the castle for now. Outside in a pond, there are half sunk colourful statues of soldiers.

Many small water bodies and natural tracks to walk. Can hear many birds chirping and also spot a few squirrels along the way. Good for spending some moments of calm though the motor roads are not too far away. Enjoyed the sunshine. Can also bike along the road but best enjoyed on foot.
