The last night in Munich, we decided to find a Vietnamese Restaurant to try and we found this one on Yelp. It's quite a distance from our hotel to here, but we got to see many different shops along the way.
This place is close to the outside farmers market like in Munich where many restaurants open in the day time.
The place is small and very crowded, we had to wait for 20-30 minutes to get a table for 4. It's the first come first serve basis, no reservations that we know of. The tables are quite close to each others and the service is quite fast and attentive.
The food was actually good.
We all liked the appetizer the bo tai chanh (VN carpaccio like beef) and the chicken skewer with peanut sauce. I had the duck with sauce which was quite delicious, my wife had the beef with veggies that was quite tasty. My daughter ordered the bun bo hue which was a mistake, it didn't taste anything like VN bun bo hue any where. I think it's made for the local Germans tastes.
Anyhow, it's a nice restaurant with nice decoration and the food is good and the prices are reasonable. We're glad we found this place in Munich.

This was one of the first restaurant we dine in Paris. This place is near our hotel Elysees Union. The restaurant is very clean and the people are very polite and extremely attentive.
The restaurant is on the main street with many other restaurants. It's quite hard to choose, but my daughter found this one on Yelp.
We ordered the escargots but somehow due to communication, they didn't come out, we missed it.
My daughter really liked the duck breast with wine sauce, she loves duck prepared by French chef. My wife got the fish which was delightful. A little friend had the pork loin which was delicious and tender, he finished it in a flash.
For me, I got the steak which had nothing to cheer about although the sauce was quite unique and tasty. The steak was a little chewy compared to sirloin steak in the State which much more tender (with just salt and pepper).
Anyhow, it's a very nice and cute little restaurant, it has tables outside so I can go to smoke after the nice dinner. Everyone's happy with their meals after a short flight from London to Paris.
We're ready for Eiffel Tower because this restaurant is really close to Parvis Des Libertee et des Droits where people takes many nice pictures of the Eiffel Tower.

Our trip to Europe in January 2024, after eating French food for a few days, we got tired of Escargots and Duck with wine sauce, we decided to go to District 13, where all the Vietnamese restaurants reside.
From Yelp we found Pho13 with the reasonable prices and good reviews so we took Uber from our hotel near Eiffel Tower to district 13.
The restaurant is well decorated with neon lights. It's on the second floor of a shopping center. The servers were extremely polite and attentive, we talked in Vietnamese which was nice. The servers here are quite friendly and open. The service was fast.
We were amazed that the food here was so good, as good as in CA or better.
The Egg rolls with rice paper were crispy and tasty like my mom would make them. My daughter loved them.
My daughter ordered Bun Bo Hue and it was great, the broth is made just like at home but better, even the noodles and vegetables.
My wife ordered Pho which she liked very much, as delicious as we cooked at home and we cooked extremely well LOL.
And me, I ordered the bo luc lac (shaken beef) which extremely tasty and tender, better than many restaurants in CA. My daughter loves beef especially bo luc lac and salt, pepper, lemon dip. She practically ate most of my beef cubes LOL.
They also have the baguettes with cold meats for us to take home for the next morning, we liked them, very good with lots of meat.
It was nice to find a place like this, although we would come back here the next day for dinner, but we needed to try other restaurants around the area. Next time if we come to Paris, we will definitely visit this restaurant again. One thing about Restaurants in France is that TIP is not required, unlike CA.
