My recent visit to Basta Restaurant Qatar with my friend Rhys, who hails from East Asia, was nothing short of spectacular. We sampled two dishes, Sheykh Al Fareij and Machboos, and were blown away by the culinary prowess showcased in each plate.

We opted to sit outside, enjoying the pleasant weather, but I would recommend indoor seating during the summer months to avoid discomfort.
We complemented our meal with Leban, a drink reminiscent of what we call Dough in my country. The refreshing taste added to our overall dining satisfaction. The rice accompanying our dishes was cooked impeccably, adding a delightful texture to each bite.

I had a quick lunch with a friend at this restaurant after a busy day, and we were pleasantly surprised to find that we were the only customers there when we arrived. We decided to try the Philadelphia Maki and Cheesy Chips Oman - Chicken dishes, each consisting of 8 pieces of sushi. Both dishes were delicious, but we particularly enjoyed the Cheesy Chips Oman - Chicken because the chips added a unique and tasty element to the sushi.

I've been to Avli Cafe more than five times in the past two years, and while I've had some great experiences, this time was a bit disappointing. The Hot Biscuit drink didn't taste as good as it used to, and I'm not sure why. I really hope they can bring back the amazing flavor it had before.
I must say, though, that I found the staff to be a bit inexperienced. When I sat down, one of them informed me that I could only occupy the table for 1 hour and 30 minutes, which made me feel a bit uncomfortable since the cafe wasn't busy at that time. Additionally, it took over 10 minutes for someone to bring the bill when I asked for it.
Overall, I used to really enjoy this cafe, but this time I had a less than ideal experience. I hope they can address these issues and improve in the future.

Unfortunately, my experience at Imam Khomeini Airport was not a pleasant one. In my opinion, it's one of the worst airports I've been to. The design of the place feels more like a bus terminal than an airport, and it's not a place I enjoyed spending time in.
