What a treat to be able to squeeze this little and marvellous museum into my London visit!
I 100% recommend it, even if you are not into design, just for the building, which is incredible!
The top floors are free and have the permanent exhibition, whereas on the ground floor there are the temporary exhibitions, which you pay for like in other museums. Beautiful location, lovely cafe!

Marvellous! It literally feels like stepping into a movie! We walked in during mass, which made it feel even more solemn.
I wish I knew more about its history coz I think I would have appreciated it more.

It’s super central so don’t skip it, you are gonna have to pass by it sooner or later, so take the opportunity and walk in and explore all the nooks and crannies!

Super beautiful central square at the feet of the Gran Via. Amazing Christmas market, super accessible (the square is recently renovated and perfectly accessible with a wheelchair or any device).
There is a large parking lot undeneath it so it’s easy to park here and then wonder around the city!

This place is a dream!
It’s close to my house so I tend to come here more often than other parks and it’s an oasis of peace.
It’s very large so you can access it from different parts and walk in all directions. It’s extremely clean and well maintained, the trash cans are always empty and the lawns super lush!
It’s an open park, so I wouldn’t be surprised if people slept there at night, but there’s no sign of it.
Also, because of the open park factor I wouldn’t recommend walking there late at night (but I’m a woman so perhaps hyper aware of safety risks).
Dogs are running around everywhere but generally owners are respectful and clean up after them as well as call them back if they see someone uncomfortable.

So, the museum is actually closed but the exhibition on the ground floor is open (and free).
It’s an exhibition about transgender people, trans art and trans artists. I didn’t expect it and I’m so grateful we stumbled open it because it was so heartwarming and marvellous. Thank you for this space!
