I like the architecture. A great resource for information about all the Smithsonian Museums. The Castle has a cafe, restrooms, and rest areas.You can browse select exhibits from the various Smithsonian Museums here. Also inside the Castle you will find some zoo exhibits as well.

Excellent fun event in the cold of winter. DCW was one of the sponsors of the Annual Cupid's Run, one mile event around the U.S. Capitol to raise awareness for children's tumor research. Runners braved temps in the low 30's, to make the charible event a success.
