It's all about the views, since I have discovered this hidden gem in Northern Virginia, the river side views are fantastic. This location is along the Leesylvania State Park trail called Bushey Trail. Look over toward Powells Creek, where the historic rail system is still active, fishing is permitted, marsh land, foliage, and birds make hiking memorable.

During the National Cherry Blossom Festival, the star is the Cherry Blossom tree. But the Flora Library also showcases a mix of popular spring flowers, like Tulips in varying colors.

The Wharf drew large crowds for the Annual Mardi Gras Parade. There were floats, masks, beads, and even Nats Teddy and the Wizard's mascot sightings.
