Good place for a bit of nature infusement. There are several public BBQs around , public toilets, free parking spots, picnic tables and benches, playground, and lots of walking areas. You can go for a walk for some historical sightseeing, or even walk loops around the reservoir if you wish. There's not really a convenient place where you can sit and picnic whilst having views of the reservoir though. For the most part you're sitting below its level so you'd have to walk up hills before you have any water views, surrounded by fencing, understandable protection for our drinking water supply.

Decent playground with swings, slide, monkey bars, spiral, tunnel etc. Not much shading though so can get quite hot. Table and benches available next to it. Public toilets available about 200 meters away. Not too far away from closest BBQ so you can still keep watch of kids. Plenty of grassy areas around for picnic. Walk up the hill for views of the reservoir.

Beautiful park right next to the CBD with a very calming and serene centrepiece where fountains provide some recluse from the city traffic and the memorials are beautifully paved and landscaped with plenty of seating around. Well maintained with massive mature trees placed both randomly around the gardens for shading, but also elegantly in rows alongside walking paths. You can walk loops around on flat paved roads for a quick lunch time exercise too if you wish. Parking available around the gardens. Public toilets available were decent too. Has more than one working water fountains.

Not a lot of Malaysian places are open for breakfast but this one is. Great for grabbing a Nasi Lemak Bungkus on my way if I'm in the area. It is an express version of the franchise so you probably won't find the full list of menu items from the QV branch for example, but they have most of the regular and popular items, and they do it decently. Plenty of casual seating available. Fast service.

Beautiful park with lots of seating, shading and space. BBQ facilities, playground, water play and public toilet available. Gorgeous water views. There's also a large flat grassy area next to it. Parking 4hour free on sundays, 4 hour metered on most times other days.
