As a foreigner, I enjoyed the traditional aesthetics of the space. You’re met with a beautiful courtyard, a grand building, lots of greenery, and great staff. They assisted with laundry enquiries and answered any questions we had about local spots. I am with my partner’s family (they are Iranian) so it helped with the language barrier.

Some pros:
- the courtyard
- breakfast is free from 8-10
- it’s buzzing in the evenings with people sitting on the lounge spots in the yard
- staff were pretty nice
- bottled water and snacks in fridge (at a fee, i think)
- supplied bath towels and slippers
- supplied toothpaste, tooth brushes, soap, shampoos and body wash
- secure area
- central location (could walk to small shops around and make it to the square but driving is quicker)

cons:
- the room gets very dry due to the heating
- can’t say bathroom felt the cleanest
- paper thin walls; you can hear everything (particularly plumbing, and people talking)

Otherwise I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

I did not realise how little was open on a Sunday! Friend and I were looking for places close to MCEC and wanted brunch - this was around 10:45am. We initially wanted to go to another cafe close by but when we got there people were queued up and we were so hangry and impatient!

We ended up looking for this little gem instead (through a quick google maps look at what else could be around). It was also very full but we ended up only waiting for 8 or so minutes for a table for 2 and it was very quick service. Staff were attentive and kind and the food hit the spot when we needed it most! We ordered our coffees first and got a skinny latte and an oat cap. Then for food we got an eggs benedict and an avo toast with smoked salmon. My one was the avo toast, and it tasted super fresh. Nothing special in terms of flavours, but a yummy and classic fave.

Overall a pleasant experience. We spent about 30ish each.

Another amazing historical bridge in the city of Isfahan. It helped to have my Iranian partner and his family with me, to explain the history and the various spaces at the bridge. We visited on a weekday evening - it was decently busy. I recommend walking under the bridge in the evening as you will hear amazing singers taking advantage of the acoustics in the space.

Pictures do not do this place any justice. What an amazing site! We happened to visit on a weekday and it was decently busy. There was a bit of a queue to buy tickets and get in.

It details part of history of Iran and the illustrations which accompany it are incredible. There are both English and Farsi texts to explain the images on each of the walls.

The architecture is another level. Safavid times. Highly recommend a visit.

Stunning sight to see in the evening - unfortunately no water when I went, and one of the lights was out/flickering on the outer arches! But despite this, it was just wow. Super busy in the evenings though - as expected.
