Came because of Atlas Obscura but left disappointed as I expected more. It was cool to see, but not worth a huge detour for. It was such a non-event that I didn’t even take a photo, so my attached photos are of the immediate vicinity and the crazy rain I escaped by visiting here!

👦 wonderful for children to get their imaginations flowing, but there is very little to do other than climb up stairs and walk through it and you’re done. For us dull adults with no imagination and/or wish to play role play games, there’s nothing here!

☔️ I did, however, manage to escape the rain here, so for that I give it a few more stars!

🦽 this is not wheelchair or mobility impaired accessible due to steps up to a bridge and a wooden walkway that’s tiles dip into the mud and are not secure. Please be careful!
Not suitable for solo travellers, but I got lucky and met another one to go around with and take photos! Everything is set up for photos taken in pairs, so please be aware 😌

This place did feel a little tired, and it was about 7 photo points mixed with a few wooden puzzles. I was not blown away by it and won’t return, but it was an okay experience :)

Summary: delicious food, attentive waiter, very quiet and zen vibe

The details:
+ extremely aesthetically designed restaurant
+ calm harp music playing throughout (quite loudly, though)
+ lots of choices for seating, ranging from traditional table and chairs to floor cushions and even two teepees!
+ gorgeous menu, brilliant prices (but remember tax needs to be added)
+ ginger beer, bbq tofu skewer and a pitta dipping board were what I ordered and they were all stunning
+ waiter speaks great English and is very attentive
+ cakes for sale too
+ it makes being vegan easy when food tastes this good 👏🏽

- they don’t sell bottled water
- getting into the restaurant will be difficult for those with accessibility issues as there’s a slatted wooden bridge that crosses a big gap between the road and restaurant
- there are a few ceiling fans, but they do not particularly do much, so expect it to be a warm eating experience!
aux Canards Garden

This garden was a lovely respite from the teeming city of Monaco. It was totally empty besides myself and my partner, it was boiling hot and there were lots of cute walks around the gardens to keep it entertaining.
There was a large pond with koi, smaller fish and turtles! We saw lots of ducks sunning themselves and splashing too.
Accessible for wheelchair users due to smooth walkways and wide paths. No public toilets that I saw, and also not too much shade so be careful!
