This place pretty much sucks with the exception of Gusher Pharmacy everything else just doesn't make the cut. Oh and the mall ownership is excessively greedy. Where other plazas hive you a couple free hours or charge you 5 pesos for the first 2 o 3 hours they charge 10 pesos for simply entering the lot of it was only for a few literal seconds or 30 minutes then it goes up. They really price gouge you on parking. Now that the new and modern plaza Alameda is there nearby and having better parking and price options you'll enjoy a much more comfortable experience. If you can, avoid this place at all costs.

The New Plaza is beautiful but too small and they can make a million shopping malls in one city but they are all lacking substance and uniqueness. They sell the same Chinese or American made cheap brands no matter which boutique you go to and you can find the exact same brand unused labeled products at a much cheaper price at a Tianguis, sobreruedas, or swap meet. Even the majority of the brands at Sears suck and are over priced. They need plazas like the great Plazas of Mexico City. Monterrey, Puerto Vallarta, or Guadalajara. At Plaza Alameda Otay Chiltepinos is no good. Wings are chicharron way over cooked enjoy at your own risk. Tajima is very popular but I dislike their Ramen. The burger joint next to serve up the very salty burger and fries. I love thrifty and DQ ice creams though. Have fun enjoy. I dont know why that indigenous food restaurant is taking so long to open.

However soon their will be a new super cool super fun and amazing shopping mall with real important stores like Liverpool and H&M something no other mall have in the area.

Otay Mall well what can I say? It is a very lonely affair in this shopping center a very unpopular place with very little traffic and mostly empty unoccupied retail spaces. They have done none to very little investment to revamp the place. They have enclosed hallways with ceiling windows to allow for light but also encases heat like a greenhouse at a Nursery in the Saharan desert region so it is no surprise most businesses in that mall have failed. So if you like to avoid crowds this maybe the place to go but their is nothing to do. Unless your doing grocery shopping at Soriana shopping for shoes at 3 hermanos maybe hitting up Sears outlet, or buying hair products at Dax. If your into tactical gear 5:11 might be your store. CEDPT and CFE are hubbed here too so you can pay your utility Bill's as well. If you just moved to the city this is the place to come for your tarjeta de elector at the INE's office. If you need a new cell phone you can visit the Movistar store. Their is always a whole lot of parking because no one goes there. There is also a nice little gift shop where they have great selection of stuffed animals and teddy bears to gift to that special someone. Saludos!!!!!
