Great DJs and music, and it's open much later than a lot of other bars which makes it a good spot to end the night. Unpretentious and chill.

I don't know what's wrong with all the other tourists, but we had no problems at all. We came here 3 times during out stay in Prague. And not once did we feel unwelcome nor were we overcharged. It is a very local spot, and 99% Czech, but to me, that's the sign of a legit dance bar. That's my style.

Service is not great, that's true. But that isn't because you're a foreigner. That's just how it is here. If you come to a dark, house music vibes late night bar for smiles and happy service, you may need to adjust your expectations. They can be slow and a bit careless with clearing away mess. Could maybe do with some security as one of the guys was insanely messed up (drink/drugs?) and aggressive, and it took a while for anybody it intervene and get rid of him. Staff didn't seem too concerned as if it happens often.

The cocktails are pretty average, but not bad. They pour heavy and they are pretty decently balanced. Penicillin is solid. It does depend on the bartender, though. Some of them are much better than others. But you come here for the music more than anything else.

Music was awesome. Crowd was pretty cool and laid back. Seemed like a lot of LGBT people one of the nights with one of the DJs, which was a pleasant surprise.

In a town full of stag dos and cheesy bars with bad music for tourists and older people, this place was an excellent haven for real house music in the center. And no stag parties. Bonus. I fully support them not allowing such tourist groups in.
Huge tourist trap, but worth a look. Lots of the same things at various stalls. So much juice, so much cured meat. It all looks cool, but after a while, it starts to seem really repetitive.

This isn't really a market for buying local produce, although you can and people do. If you're looking for where locals go, this isn't it.

Everything is quite expensive so don't expect cheap eats. However, you can get some excellent seafood from some of the spots inside. Sad to see the xuxo place gone.

Absolutely packed with tourists on their phones, but it seems that at least you can move around for the most part.

I recommend the egg stall. There are emu eggs!

Surprisingly good Japanese (I would not consider it a true izakaya, as there are no skewers). We had randomly chosen this place as it had space at the time we wanted to eat, and it was a good choice!

Lots of variety and I can't say a single dish we chose was bad. They were all seasoned and cooked well, not too strong on any one flavour or spice. Normally, I find mackerel too fishy, but this was spot on. Really pleasant to eat. Loved the salmon, which is also not something I usually say at Japanese restaurants. Tako wasabi was good too. The tartare was a weak spot.

Cocktails are pretty weak, but there is a good sake list with decent prices. Really helpful guides on choosing the right sake.

Service was efficient and fast, and we were never left searching or waiting.

I'm surprised it wasn't busier because it actually was the best place we visited in the area.

One of my favourite roast pork places in the city. I am so glad that the one time BlogTO did a feature, it didn't totally explode the spot and make it impossible to visit (like it has with some other places). Don't get me wrong, it's still very busy all the time, but not crazy. Parking can be difficult to find. There are also a few other businesses in the food court, so if you're in a rush, you can grab something else.

The roast pork is flavourful, juicy, crispy skin, and well-cooked every time. Soup is comforting. Duck is nicely roasted. Lots of veg and rice. Good value.

It's nothing fancy, but it doesn't have to be.

I have been a fan of this bar since before I even tried it. For years, tbh. It was always somewhere I considered to have one of the most unique and underrated bar programs in the city with such attention, creativity, and sophistication of ingredients.

I am just so glad it completely lived up to my extremely high expectations. 🙌

Not only is their menu artful in its visual element, the drinks are creative and tasteful without seeming gimmicky or over the top, like the trap so many craft cocktail bars fall into. And further, for such a place, sometimes I expect the staff to be snobbish. (It happens often.) But here? They were so patient and helpful. To be honest, it was like I was visiting an old friend's bar -- and I don't even know these folks. Just really legit positivity for their craft, their business, and their customers. My friends and I had such a good time.

Plus... the cocktails were absolutely superb! They were balanced impeccably, and when they list the ingredients, you can taste all of them. A hard and rare feat to actually accomplish. And the little taste guides in the menu are accurate! The complexity of the ones I choose was exactly what I was hoping for.

My only regret is that I had an appointment I couldn't be late for because I would have loved to stay all night and try each and every one.

It's baffling to me that they don't appear on more of Toronto's Best Of lists because they certainly deserve the recognition.

This cocktail bar is something special. 💎
