Positives: decent happy hour, good selection of cocktails to choose from.
Negatives: the music is way too loud for such a small space. It’s so dark in there that we needed to use phone torches to read the menu.
Unfortunately the bar staff didn’t have the ingredients or “didn’t know how to make” half of the cocktails we wanted.
We were a group of 4 sat in a booth until the next reservation were due, and they didn’t show. We were told we still had to move even though they hadn’t turned up, because we’d “been there too long.” By this point there were plenty of free seats within the bar & it wasn’t particularly busy, so we felt like we were effectively being kicked out for no reason! Shambolic

We were kindly offered a £50 bar tab to rectify the above. We were very impressed by the cocktails & impeccable table service (thanks to Kevin & Lucy 🌟)

My favourite local place to go for either French toast or sourdough with scrambled eggs & bacon. Service is always friendly & efficient. Would love if they brought back the Vietnamese coffee! ☕️👌🏼
Atmosphere: Buzzing on a Thursday night, appeared to be fully booked
Service: Unbelievably slow unfortunately. We were a group of 8 & had to wait 45 minutes just to order drinks, and then even longer for the meals. Our server didn’t write any orders down, meaning we received the wrong items on multiple occasions, or some items were missed entirely
Food: Wine & cocktails were nice but some of the dishes were average, some portions were small (one large prawn as a starter!), and prices are too high for what you get

Everything was great! Would recommend the scrambled eggs on sourdough, Turkish Eggs & Dirty Chai
My favourite vegan brunch spot in Hackney 🌿 I like that you pay at the counter & it’s self service - no waiting around for the bill! Always a nice atmosphere, and there’s a cute outdoor space too
Some of the menu changes seasonally, but I’d recommend the peanut butter drinks, smoothie bowl, sausage roll & pancakes 🥞
