Take the name "Viet" out your restaurant's name if you don't know how to make Vietnamese dishes.
The food was atrocious bad, and not authentic at all. We ordered Pho & Bun Bo Hue.
Let's start with the Bun Bo Hue, these clowns used rice vermicelli as noodles, and after asking what kind of noodles these were, they replied to me that this was the correct way. How do you even dare to tell a VIETNAMESE person that using the WRONG type of noodles is the correct way??
The other joke is the meat that they used, they put the EXACT same meat as they put in the Pho (with raw beef even) in the Bun Bo Hue... What the F is this for recipe fusion-ish joke?? Have they even googled what to put in Bun Bo Hue??
It tasted like they bought instant Pho broth and threw a tea spoon of hot oil in it.
The Pho was also a joke, throwing half an onion doesn't hide the fact that you used like 4 slices of beef, you guys are trying to save cows now huh?
Where did the chef learned how to cook? at a Bubble tea parking place next to the homeless people?
Response to the Owner's reply:
Class response from a clown restaurant like yours. It reflects how much of a joke your restaurant is. You're suddenly claiming that you're "eclectic, fusion-inspired" meanwhile it was stated nowhere, not on the menu, not online, nowhere. Just because I called you out you're suddenly pulling stuff out of thin air.
"Miss I'm Vietnamese and own the exclusive rights to decide what's Viet and what's not". Wow, this proves that you're such an ignorant owner. Did I claim anything? no. I'm just pointing out that these dishes, especially the Bun bo hue is NOT anywhere near real Viet standard. If you've lived in Vietnam, and grew up there you'd be embarrassed to sell this and claim it's Vietnamese.
