Fantastic place! We really appreciated the history and detail everywhere we looked! The palace is essentially completely open and the gardens are just gorgeous. There were multiple renovations and owners of this palace, and the history is published to read on the second floor.

We came spontaneously and they were able to seat us, but there was a line to enter the terraza restaurant. Probably because people have learned it has a great view, but it also has really delicious empanadas and a generous dessert menu. We enjoyed the gorgeous views over the plaza, including the lights for Mexican Independence Day and illuminated cathedral! Come here for a romantic dinner or with some friends!
