A must if you love architecture and WWII sites! The Tudor villa is amazing and its gardens immaculate. The outside is free but if you want to visit the inside downstairs where the Potsdam conference happened, you will need a ticket! I just purchased on site and they have free audio guide too! Cash and credit cards accepted! You need to use lockers for backpacks make sure you have euro coin and filming was not allowed. The beautiful red star garden is only seen from the inside! Highly recommend!

Took the bus again but this time from airport to praça Galicia. Only €1 pay to the driver. Clean and comfortable bus best way to the city.

Nice find! The boards with information about the spice trades are very nice! Incredible to know how many years ago the world use to connect! Different spices are planted around too!

The airport t1 is quite modern and connected to t2. Food and shop options available. Pearl lounge is pretty mediocre! Bathrooms kept pretty clean.
Arrival area is organized but passport control and customs took a while. ATMs available on the arrival hall and on the ground flour is the train station. Make sure to withdraw cash before heading to train station as you will need to go thru security to get back in.
If you have long layover over 8hs you can get a free hotel so you need to clear immigration and customs once at the main hall terminal 1 go upstairs and look for transit and lodging just above orange shop. Over there you will receive a voucher and then head outside close to terminal 2 for the free shuttle pickup. It comes every 1/2 of a hour. I had not only the hotel but two meals! Highly recommended!!
