We visited 4th January 2024 and the park was in a fair state of chaos following the Christmas Day tornado. Extensive damage to the woodlands was everywhere to be seen. But all the roads had been cleared and opened to address, so getting about was entirely possible. The majority of businesses were open to trade, with only a few that we encountered that were still impacted by the damage to power. Repair crews were everywhere to be seen. As were the clear up crews. Every effort being put into restoring the park to full action.
There were several park sights closed off. Notably the Waterfalls were inaccessible, as was the Sky Walk.
Nevertheless, we enjoyed our visit and will be sure to come again the next time that we're in Australia. We want to see what we missed this time round.
