This is the most beautiful garden I have ever seen. Every inch is manicured. The amount of work that goes into keeping these gardens looking the way they do is astounding. It is so much area covered with so many secrets hidden around that were very fun to find. The staff were very welcoming and pleasant. I had such an incredible time. I walked from Benyac to see the castle and then walked to the gardens before heading back. It was some trek, but for me, well worth it.

P.s. you can get a dual ticket to see the castle, which is what I did it was a good day.

Wow! This place was incredible. The history, the number of artifacts, and the restoration of the castle were so radical. Trebuchet are in our time today because of this castle because the art of building them had been lost in time, they figured it out, how coolis that. There's so many informative videos, it's super easy to follow the path, and they even have garb you can try. They did an amazing job creating such a cool place to visit. I walked from Benyac to get here, and I was not in the least bit disappointed.

I had an amazing time at this castle. It felt like walking into the past. The staff were friendly at the gate, and there was a very informative audio tour that made it even more enjoyable, put the headphones in, and was immersed in history. It was hard to believe that I was in such a historic place. I felt like I would run into King Richard "The Lion Heart" at any moment. It has stunning views and very beautiful rooms that I felt like I was looking into the past.
I will say there is a steep walk from town, so be aware it is obviously on top of a cliff, so just be aware of that. Unforgettable
