Visited here during the day on a drag brunch. We were 30 mins late getting let in, then once we got in the venue it was chaos. There were not enough tables for people so they had to cram more in. The WiFi details were not on the tables and there was no signal, and food had to be ordered on the app. So people were trying to find out how to order. There is supposed to be one hour for bottomless drinks, which was delayed for most people by about 30 mins. In the end so many people complained they just allowed free drinks for the whole visit.
On a note positive note the food was of a much better quality than I expected. The veggie burger and fries were great. There were 3 or 4 vegetarian choices.
The drink choices were good, cocktails, mocktails I expected, but also canned cider, beer, fizzy drinks etc were in the free allocation.
The music/DJ was great and the drag act was entertaining. One had a lot of clothing changes while the other stayed the same throughout ,(slightly disappointing).
The atmosphere created was pretty good.
I probably wouldn't do it again (but I'm getting old) as it felt like there were far too many people crammed in there, it started off very chaotic and do really busy... But I did have fun and a great afternoon with the teen.

This was THE best pizza I have ever tasted. Truffle creme and wild mushroom. So light on cheese but packed full of flavour. So good I nipped back for a second slice. Only 1000 HUF (£3) for drink and slice. Ideal street food.
The Raffles hotel is not near the tube station MTR at raffles Place. Instead get off at City Hall.
The building is iconic and stepped in colonial charm. I visited just to have a Singapore Sling in the Long Bar in the place it was invented in 1915. It's a gin based drink with pineapple, lime and cherry brandy and it's pretty potent! I followed this up with another but alcohol free which was really refreshing.
I visited alone, but was sat at the bar and other people travelling alone were friendly and chatty.
I laughed when I saw the peanut shells thrown on the floor. Apparently it's the only place in Singapore you are allowed to do this.. a sign of defiance!
Was it pricey? Yep.... And tax and service charge were both added too.. Came to around 45 Singapore Dollars. I probably wouldn't buy another if I visited again, but I was told I should do it the once.

The gardens walk should be done before dark so you can see how beautiful the area is. Then wait until dark and see the tree structures lit up and it gives it a whole new look and feel.
When you arrive find a place to sit near the trees for the best views from the ground.
I stayed for the light show which was nice, but to be honest I was happy just seeing them lit.
I paid to visit the floral exhibition in the gardens. This was so well designed and I really enjoyed it.
