One of the better pubs in the area - tucked away in a side street and it is full of character. People I met here came from around the world and you never know what you get every time. We love it.
Food here is great and we are keen to come back for a roast. One thing I’d change is the price of their drinks, a tad more expensive than others in the area and it adds up after a few.

Waitress has a huge attitude and has no common sense. Food was ok but have not much flexibility and limited vegetarian options.
I loved this place after our first visit so we thought why not spending our Sunday lunch here again. But we were left disappointed.
We were blown away by their fall out of bone lamb leg the first time so of course we are going to order again. Not only did the cut have changed, the taste has as well. It is dried but fatty - I did not enjoyed it. However their Yorkshire pudding is still very yummy
We also ordered two pints as we sat down and the staff was so kind to offer us a taster. There might have been an misunderstanding on what we want - the staff wrote down the wrong one. when it’s delivered by the other staff, we politely said that it’s not what we wanted only for him to tell us “well that’s whats written on my paper.” Of course he had to go check with the staff that made the order and after we confirmed it, she has gotten the right one. On our first visit, the staff (we believe she’s might be an owner) noticed that she got us the wrong one before even delivering it to our table, she go ahead and offer us the wrong one for free.
Big difference on both times. Mistakes happens but the attitude makes a big difference.

Interesting that they gave you a whole bowl of vegetable to have with your maze and it includes a head of lettuce and a whole tomato! It’s odd but actually very yummy with the food we got.
Except for the halloumi bread being too salty, everything tasted really good
Service was amazing and welcoming. They gave us a complimentary dessert and it was very tasty.

We didn’t have a booking but the staff tried their very best to get the 4 of us a table.
The food is yummy and hearty which is exactly what I want for a cold rainy night in London. Rangdang beef and laksa was very good.
Atmosphere isn’t the best - it has the generic Asian restaurant feel but the staff was very nice and friendly!
