If I could give negative stars I’d give -5. I paid £15 for four hours parking on a hot day. The heat caused the ticket paper to curl up and the ticket rolled over and I got a £100 parking charge (found out this has happened quite frequently at this carpark to other people, the operator must know that their ticket paper stock does this).
Went through the appeals process and both the operator and independent appeals service rejected the appeal, refusing to take into account any mitigating circumstances and the fact I had purchased a ticket. Money grubbing and unjust company. Avoid at all costs.
