Starbucks Coffee

I visited Starbucks a few weeks ago, I had the most horrible experience ever. Firstly, I can confirm that the manager named Joelma is honestly the most horrible person ever. I had witnessed how she was treating this little brown girl who was wearing a hijab named Amina. The manner she spoke to her was absolutely atrocious. I cannot understand how a manager who treats their staff like slaves has a job especially in this day and age. Where is the equality and fairness? She was being sarcastic and simple rude and raising her voice. I felt extremely sorry for the little girl. I asked one of the male staff, if the manager is always in a mood and he replied that no one in the store likes her due to her vicious attitude. The little girl Amina had told me that there were several staff from other stores who had also worked with Joelma were traumatised because of the poor treatment.

I would like to point out to Starbucks Head office, why they have managers on site and working when staff are scared or patronised. Surely a work place should be safe and comfortable for each individual? I had visited this Starbucks 4 other times after this incident and every single time I look over at all the staff, they look scared of working with Joelma and Joelma never has a smile on her face. If I am honest, even I feel terrified, she always has an angry and moody face as if she is being forced to work. I had noticed her being aggressive with slamming the jugs and blender aswell. What is this behaviour Starbucks? Please investigate into this.
