The Vale Royal Abbey Arms is a lovely pub with a welcoming atmosphere & great staff. The service is quick & efficient with the staff asking how the meal is & do you need anything else on a regular basis. The food was good, the norm that you would expect for a Sunday lunch but the Mackerel pate starter was superb. If i have one criticism it is that the food could of been hotter, but this would not stop a return visit.
