My partner bought me a Theatre experience including dinner for 2 at The Delaunay. We are Vegans, so we emailed & called in advance to confirm that would be ok. On arrival, we were offered the regular menu / Gluten Free menu (they also have a specific children’s menu) - but no Vegan menu. We were offered a “chopped salad & 1 main”. Honestly my heart sank. Our Server “Ged” saw how disheartened we were. So he spoke with the chef who agreed they need to create more Vegan options. They created us 2 starters, 2 mains & 2 desserts - which were AMAZING. And they said they would be discussing a Vegan menu for ‘environmentally conscious consumers’.
100% saved by Ged - he was kind, understanding, took time to help & entirely saved our experience. Thank you. 🙏
