Very beautiful cathedral and one of the top attractions in Dresden.
Right next to it is one of the gates which lead to the old town

Good place to get something fast.

The park is bigger than expected and will take at least a couple of hours to see it all. If you take your time you can easily spend the day there.
There is a wide variety of animals and the scheduled shows are entertaining and worth the visit. Special note to dolphin show which takes close to 30min and very enjoyable.
There are plenty of shades so even in hot days you can walk around without overheating.
Lastly you can bring in food and drinks but note food sold inside isn’t overly priced so you might also just get a grab inside.
