This place really has it all, from breakfast and McDonald's to fried chicken and steak options. It's a one-stop shop for nearly every craving you might have. (The landlord must be some sort of foodie I'd only imagine) The variety here is impressive, making it a popular spot in the area. However, with its popularity comes a bit of a downside: parking can be a challenge. I wish there were more parking options and better route planning within the plaza to make navigating from one spot to another a bit easier. That's really the only hiccup! If you can manage the parking situation, you'll find this place incredibly convenient for grabbing just about anything you might be in the mood for.
This plaza is a pretty solid option if you're looking for quick eats, featuring Tim Hortons and other fast food outlets. It's straightforward and basic, but it gets the job done. Parking is a major plus here, it's free, which is always appreciated. This spot serves as a great alternative to the York Campus area, which, while offering trendier dining options, often comes with paid and hard-to-find parking. If you're not in the mood to navigate the complexities of the campus, this plaza is a convenient and hassle-free choice for grabbing a bite.
This place, a favorite for those in the know, specializes in quick, delicious chang fen and noodles that won't break the bank. Among the offerings, the rice roll with crispy fried dough and the truffle paste rice roll with mushrooms stand out, serving not just food, but memories on a plate.
The interior might strike some as plain or even dated, but for me, it’s part of its charm. It’s a reminder of a time when simplicity was cherished, and the focus was squarely on the food and the community it brought together. This old-school vibe, increasingly rare amid today’s sleek and modern eateries, offers a unique kind of comfort, a quick escape to a world where things move a bit slower, and the food tastes like it was made with a dash more care.
Despite its unassuming appearance, the quality of the food here is consistently impressive. Each dish is a proof that true culinary excellence doesn’t always come with frills. The comfort found in devouring four or five dishes here is unparalleled, leaving you in a state of contentment so profound, you might just find yourself dozing off, lulled by the satisfaction of a belly well fed.
