There's not much to see in Chantaburi. This one is the star attraction but frankly no where near anyones expectations and that is largely because of lavk of any form of maintenance barring a couple of houses here or there. You can opt to walk down the road on the other side of the river but beware of a large pack of stray dogs, it can be scary.

Overall you wont miss much if you skipped Chantaburi altogether.
