مسجد الملك الحسين بن طلال من أقدم المساجد في العقبة بالإضافة الى موقعة المتميز في السوق والوسط التجاري ويبعد عن شاطئ الغندور عشر دقائق مشياً على الأقدام، وقد تم إعادة تأهيله منذ فترة قريبة حيث تم صيانة الساحة الداخلية و الواجهات الخارجية والمئذنة والارصفة وتم انشاء وحدات صحية للرجال و السيدات. المسجد بعد إعادة التأهيل لوحة من الجمال حيث هو مليء بالزخارف والنقوش الإسلامية .. المسجد واسع يتسع لعدد كبير من المصلين، ودورات المياه نظيفة.. توجد ساحة قريبة لاصطفاف السيارات.. صليت فيه مؤخراً عندمتا زرت العقبة في رحلة عمل سريعة والتقطت بعض الصور له..
