I went to the fort and light house late in the day. Most things were shutting down so it is hard to give an evaluation. It was a great place to visit to see the fort and lighthouse.

This museum gives an excellent history of Amsterdam, the canal houses and how it all came to be developed. The audio and visual is excellent along with the construction models. The holographics in the model of the canal house are amazing. Highly recommend visiting this museum. The tour is in "groups" so that you are at the "beginning" of each "animation"

A very moving memorial to those who lost their lives in the Holocaust. The mirrors, the bricks with the names, the name walls in the shape of Letters, all well thought out and displayed. My regret is that I was not able to find out what the "names" are on the gate that is open during the day and closed at night. I think it camps that people were sent to but I couldn't confirm in my internet search.
