Ordered nyoma choma (grilled half goat ribs). The meat was tasty but a bit tough and chewy. The meat comes with chopped tomatoes and onions condiments that goes nicely with the grilled meat.
Delicious food that marries Mexican and Asian flavors well. All the food was delicious but my favorite was the octopus. The octopus was perfectly cooked, tender and flavorful. My other favorite was the scallop with mango sauce - the scallop was fresh and the sauce compliments the scallop well - not overpowering the scallop yet enhances it.
I personally don’t think this restaurant deserves the ranking as one of the world’s best restaurants. The host was rudely turning us away when we came early (because the restaurant sent a message earlier to warn not to be late otherwise we may lose our table). Although the presentations were beautiful, the food was one dimensional - salty. The shrimp appetizer was not only salty but also overcooked. The waiter also forgot the cabbage taco appetizer order until I asked after the main dish was arrived.
