Finally, I get to try out this place after seeing many good reviews about it. I am personally not a fan of Wantan Mee, but I wanted to experience having lunch here. I ordered the BBQ Pork Wantan Mee and Kopi-Peng. I especially love the noodle texture; it’s thinner than most other wantan mee I have had. The char siew (BBQ pork) is nicely grilled; you can see its pinkish color and it has a layer of fat. According to the owners, they make their own noodles and char siew without any preservatives or tenderizer. The service is friendly, though a bit slow, which I have no problem with them taking their time. The ambience of this restaurant is cozy. The retro feel of this place makes it feel like I am going back in time to our grandparents' days.
