It do admit this museum got me confused. I thought it would be a big warehouse with streetart in it but that building doesn't exist. Instead, it is just atreetart surrounding this specific point that you can have guided, paid tours in the summer.

We went in the rainy winter but I can understand it is more enjoyable with better weather. I can't say much about the guided tour but you appreciate the art without it.

Nothing can escape the art nouveau style of Prague not even a Jewish synagogue that was built in 1906. This colorful building is very eye-catching when walking from the station to the city center.

The Western front face is decorated by a Czech and Hebrew inscription: This is God’s gate, through which the righteous enter. Don’t we all have but one father? Have we not been created by the only God?
Why did the Christians made columns of the trinity? Because the Romans did it first! During the roman Empire, each emperor got a column.

This inspired christians of the 15th through thw 17th century to make their own religious christian column. Most of the columns had the virgin mary on it but they became quite ornate throughout the ages. This column is decorated with a statue of the Holy Trinity and the Czech patron saints. Three fountains around the column symbolise the sources of life, mercy and salvation.

It was made around 1715 and ad you can tell.. It is used mainly as a car park area.
This man made the Czech language as it currently is as part of a nationalisst revival in the early 19th century. He revived archaic words, for which he studied historical documents, or borrowed from other Slavic languages, and created neologisms. Many of his words became a permanent part of the Czech language.

Jungmann made a Czech - German comprehensive five-volume dictionary comprising 120,000 entries, each with its meaning and collocations. The dictionary provides a basis for the entire national education and offers an insight into the language and literature of the otherwise undescribed period from 1500 to 1750.

A lovely early 20th century building that contains an Alphonse Muncha style glass windows and art.

The most eye catching art piece is the upside down horse. It is created by David Černý who has his art dotted around the city. You might have spotted the turning Kafka head in the city.

The sculpture is a mocking reference to the more famous equestrian statue of King (and later, Saint) Wenceslas that sits in Wenceslas Square, and possibly a mocking nod to Czech president Vaclav Klaus.

Definately worth a visit!
