My wife and I arrived a few minutes early and found the staff to be very pleasant and friendly. The actual museum was designed and built in Middle Eastern finish and decor of a very high level. We took the guided tour with a young man named Asher who proved to be a master musician on antique middle eastern instruments. His demonstrations on many of the instruments together with his tremendous grasp of their history gave us a very special and unexpected experience. Our tour was in Hebrew. I don't know if Asher guides in English, but if he does and you need English I would say do not miss the opportunity. His Hebrew is clear and easy to understand. Out of our many wonderful experiences in Jerusalem over many years, this was one of the important ones not to miss.
