This reserve has an easy walking/cycling track around part of it. So you can get away from the traffic and enjoy the peace while observing the birds in their habitat. Nice for a picnic too. Worth a look

CAN is a fantastic place to visit if you're interested in NZ artists. And it's FREE! Well lit spacious areas are full of beautiful displays. Within walking distance of the Napier City centre it's worth going for a look and if you're driving free parking is available on the road outside. Staff are friendly and helpful and if it interests you, classes are available or spaces to rent for your own exhibition. Put aside some time and do it! PS suitable for kids too :-)

Fabulous Park for all ages. Of course I preferred it when I was growing up as we had amazing scary stuff to test us, plus a fantastic paddling pool, which is sadly gone. The trees and gardens are beautiful, plus a duck pond, Avery and Begonia House. So a good Free outing for all
