The store has contactless means of making payment. However, I was told by the teller that I needed to have the physical card to put in to the card reader. Being someone who maximises the use of modern technology like Apple Pay etc.. I found this to be a serious inconvenience. A place like a pharmacy should be able to accept all forms of making payment. Cash, physical card and contactless using card or mobile touch pay. Imagine, I had no cash, no card and only had mobile touch pay as a means of paying for medication? Imagine I was sick and needed medication. Imagine it was a matter of me living or dying as a result of getting the said medication … o would be left to suffer or die even (a bit dramatic, yet possible) because the store is unable/won’t accept my method of payment
