Excellent place to have dinner in Erfurt and an excellent spot for people watching.
The beer on tap is delicious. We had the Wirtshauspfanne. That has all kinds of Meat and sauerkraut. This dish is the best way to experience Thüringer food.

Beautiful church. At the time we visited it, it was peaceful and quiet. Only 3 other visiters.
The paintings are beautiful. I can imagine it's called the Sistine chapel of the Alpes.
I think it's even worth a detour!
Don't forget to visit the town of La Brigue as well. It's a really nice town with very good lunch options and a beautiful church.

Bij brouwerij De Hemel is het een feestje om te lunchen.
Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en servicegericht.
Wij zijn begonnen met een Hemelse bierproeverij. Dit zijn 6 heerlijke biertjes.
Hierna geluncht, brood met heerlijke geitenkaas en brood met huisgemaakte tonijnsalade. Beiden waren fantastisch.
Bij de lunch genoten van een Hemelse Mariken en een Helse Engel.
Als afsluiter hebben wij de bitterballen genomen.
De Hemel was een feestje. Wij komen hier zeker nog een keer terug!
