Wonderful museum and interesting items but wow not professional at all. We have never encountered such a rude security guard anywhere, let alone in Türkiye where they are usually so lovely. We actually felt unsafe - people like this give Türkiye a bad name. We arrived a few minutes early and he yelled and screamed at us for opening the door and asking if it was open (because it did look dark). We had to go back multiple times after the official opening time because the staff just hadn’t turned up to start work. So we don’t recommend going before 12pm.
