I am a regular Amtrak passenger, and this station was the most charming! It truly felt like I was in White Christmas, even though I went at the end of June. The station is quiet, organized, and is everything you need as you wait for the train. There are a few outlets to charge up and some local magazines to thumb through if you are so inclined.
Definitely a special old-timey station that stands out to me from other modern stations in major cities. A New England gem, equally entertaining as it is functional.
Accessibility note: To board the train, you just walk right up to it and go on the stairs, no raised access platform.
