Do Not Order from Dacor. The showroom staff is awesome, but warranty service is awful and for the amount of money we spent you can get a better product with beyter reliability.
I spent over an hour being tossed around to get a part that hadn’t shipped with a $10k fridge - only to be denied by a “manager” of the warranty team (Jared) after being told by a triage rep that the part was important and would be covered under warranty.
When I found out the part - was only $100 I of course was happy to just buy it myself - but of course Jared wasn’t able to assist in that either and so now I need to get the missing part myself, from an authorized retailer. Not that the phone support people understand or care but this isn’t about the money - I’d happily spend the $100 even though I shouldn’t have to. It’s about their lack of respect for the time their clients have to spend, and the annoyance of being bounced from person to person only to find out they can’t assist.
