Nice long walkway though the park if you want to take dogs on lead or add a section to your running route. Quite thin though and the playground, while reasonably well furnished, is quite small.

There’s a huge amount of space here for dogs that to play off leash in the grass or in the water. There’s a nice little section of beach so you can sit while your dog goes for a swim. Because the grass area is so large, it’s easy to get away from other dogs if you’ve got a new puppy or a dog not fully socialised. Probably one of the best places on the Gold Coast to take dogs.

Around the beginning of winter the sun sets perfectly in the middle of the line of view from the lookout. It’s a really clear view, and if there’s some cloud sunset can be very picturesque. Main downsides are a small parking area and viewing area.
